GOOD NEWS!
The R.E.L.I.C.S. have announced that their annual Mother's Day plant sale will still be taking place this year, albeit in a modified format! We want to be sure you can shop safely and that means expanding the options for placing orders and picking them up. When & WHERE is the SALE?
The sale will be held on Saturday, May 16th from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at St. Hugh. This includes curbside pick-up for orders placed in advance, as well as an in-person sale for those who want to browse the remaining plant selection at a safe distance. Please read below for details on these two options.
What PLANTS ARE AVAILABLE?
The R.E.L.I.C.S. have an assortment of flowers, herbs, and vegetables available for sale. A complete list of items can be found at the bottom of this page. Please note that quantities are limited and plants are first-come, first-served. If there is something you really want, be sure to place an advance order!
WHAT WILL PRICES BE? HOW CAN I PAY?
Instead of having set prices for the plants, this year we are asking that people make a donation to R.E.L.I.C.S., preferably by check. Please make checks out to St. Hugh and be sure that you indicate 'R.E.L.I.C.S.' in the memo line. This applies to any advance orders for pick-up and plants purchased on the day of the sale.
Thank you for supporting our outreach mission!
OPTION #1: ORDER AHEAD AND PICK-UP
Advance orders can be placed through Thursday, May 14th by emailing Marty Owens. Her email address can be found in the church directory. Please browse the selection (below). Plant orders will be reserved in the order that they are received (first-come, first-served) and Marty can let you know if something you've requested is no longer available.
To retrieve your advance order, please come during the hours of the sale. You can stay in your car and we will bring out your plants & load them for you! See above for payment info.
OPTION #2: SHOP THE SALE IN PERSON
For those who prefer to shop the sale in person, all remaining plants will be available during the hours of the sale. If there is something that you really want, you're better off placing an advance order!
We’ll be practicing social distancing and ask that you do the same (i.e., face coverings and 6 foot distance). See above for payment info.
